Il\u00b7ltre. Tamb\u00e9 va formar part del grup que va seq\u00fcenciar i va publicar el genoma del bacteri Pseudomonas stutzeri, el primer genoma desxifrat en la UIB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En la confer\u00e8ncia el Dr. Benn\u00e0sar va parlar sobre la diversitat microbiana, sobre l&#8217;inventari planetari dels microorganismes i algunes de les seves curiositats. La irrupci\u00f3 de les t\u00e8cniques \u00f2miques ens permeten estudiar microorganismes que no s\u00f3n cultivables. Han transformat la nostra capacitat d&#8217;estudiar i comprendre determinats microorganismes contribuint a tancar aquesta bretxa entre l&#8217;invisible i el desconegut. La integraci\u00f3 d&#8217;aquests enfocaments \u00f2miques m\u00faltiples ens proporciona noves perspectives sobre la vida microbiana, avan\u00e7os en recerca i en camps d&#8217;aplicaci\u00f3 que van des del medi ambient a la medicina. Per esmentar algunes la medicina, biotecnologia, farmacologia, agricultura, veterin\u00e0ria, ecologia i medi ambient.
